Tertiary Entrance Program
Southbank Institute of Technology is developing a new program specifically for senior secondary school students in Queensland.
The Southbank Tertiary Entrance Program (STEP) will offer Queensland students in year 11 and 12 an authentic campus experience. Students enrolled in the selected Diploma programs will attend the same classes as current Southbank Institute students.
Successful completion of Diploma units during year 11 and 12 will guarantee students entry into their chosen Diploma program once they complete their senior schooling. Credit will be granted for those units successfully completed over years 11 and 12.
Southbank Institute is currently consulting with schools about the program which is planned to be introduced in 2009.
