Application Process
Most programs have specific entry requirements and require an application to be submitted, however some are available on a 'first in, first served' basis.
You need to check the entry requirements and application process for your specific program. Do this by checking the program brochure. You can print off an application or enrolment form from within the brochure if applicable.
On each program brochure you will also find the requirements for how and where to apply for entry. Requirements include:
- application made directly to the institute
- application made directly to Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC)
- no application, payment only required.
Enrolling directly with Southbank Institute of Technology
If you applied directly to the Institute for program entry your application will be assessed, and if successful, your faculty will either notify you or send you an enrolment package. You must enrol and pay your fees by the due date to secure a place in the program.
If no application is required, you will be posted an enrolment form upon request or you can collect or print one from the program brochures on this site. You must then enrol and pay your fees to the institute as soon as possible to ensure you don't miss out on a place.
QTAC enrolments
If you applied to Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) for program entry, QTAC will notify you of the outcome by the dates set by QTAC. If successful, this will be followed closely by the posting of an institute enrolment pack. This enrolment pack will contain all information required to finalise your enrolment with us and begin your study.
You must accept your QTAC offer (respond directly to QTAC), then enrol and pay your fees directly to the Institute to secure a place in the program.
